Q: Do I have to dance barefoot?
A: No, you can wear dance shoes or ordinary shoes, just not your street shoes.
Q: Is there a dress code of any sort?
A: Most people tend to go for what they feel comfortable dancing in. Layers are good.
Q: Can I come on my own?
A: Do! It’s a friendly and welcoming space.
Q: I love to dance but I’m a bit shy. I’m worried I might feel awkward or self conscious.
A: Well you might of course. But it’s worth remembering that no-one is going to be watching you. People get pretty caught up in their own dance, chances are you will too…
In the meantime, the dance has low lighting so there’s plenty of dark corners where you can do your own thing. Or you could try dancing shyly, see how that is…
Q: Can I bring or buy alcohol?
A: No, the space is alcohol free. It’s good to bring water tho.
Q: I’m on a low wage (or unemployed). Can I pay less?
A: Yes…. or better still, you could ask if it’s possible to do a free entry swap, – helping with setting up etc.
